Patriotic display for Australia Day – SA’s Willunga waves the flags a-plenty

Flying the Australian flag on Australia Day is one way to celebrate the day.

Family barbecues or a day at the beach with kite flying, a cricket match and a swim may be another.

Feather banners Uluru, Opera House

Easily recognised the world over, these scenes of Uluru and Sydney Opera House are featured on Linda Sanders’ series of feather banners – for OzFeathers.

As a show of national joy, we chose to offer a free display of our 200 denier SolarMax flag nylon artistic murals, where for one day, Uluru and the Sydney Opera House stood shoulder to shoulder!

Unmistakably, these are two must-see tourist destinations for travellers to Australia. OzFeathers’ feather flags may be the simplest way to enjoy the views without the need for travel.

Seeing boldly coloured beach flags on a sunny January day can’t help but inspire happiness – think of sand, fresh air and the freedom to enjoy them all.  The Lucky Country.

Displaying this mass-ascension of banner art has been our gift to this local community; confidently showing the brightness of colour which is OzFeathers’ unique signature style.

Feather banners offer the ultimate in brightness, unparalleled by any other style – always heads and shoulders above teardrop banners – as the ideal visual imagery to boost awareness of small businesses everywhere.

Advertising that no serous business owner can afford to be without.

Happy Australia Day, and be sure to keep your feather flags flying!

Willunga Kite Flyer salutes 2017 Santos Tour Down Under

The perfect location… Old Willunga Hill on a sunny, but not hot, Saturday in January.

Tour Down Under 2017 skyline – Uluru and Sydney Opera House… in WILLUNGA, SA!!

Linda filled the skyline with her signature Australian feather banner murals – Uluru and Sydney Opera House – then sat back to wait for the cyclists.

TDU Stage 5 in Willunga surely has the jolliest atmosphere.

Boxing Kangaroo banner

Linda’s Boxing Roo is seriously cheering!

Trumpeting serenades, jangling cowbells and ship’s bells, click-clacking rattlers, and the cheers and shouts of “Good on ya!” as the racers zoomed (even UP the Hill) past the waiting supporters.

Blending tile mosaic and glass leadlight techniques with specially designed flag nylon, Linda’s banners produce an art style which is both bright and durable.

Long-life is key for these pieces.
